I'm really enjoying this story. It's a real page turner. It got a bit of everything. I'm also enjoying Renee her courage is really inspiring,the things she has to endure and still comes out on top.all in all great story.
Wow!!!! Mean and nasty vampires. Horrific tortures, vampire trafficking, and a spirited country girl turned vampire heroine. Finally vampires as they are meant to be. There is redemption and revenge. The beginnings of a love story gone askew. Recommend to all vampire lovers that don't like their vampires to sparkle.
I was to tired, and didn't have the attention span to read... I surfed , scavenging for free books... I was lucky enough to get all three... Living in Darkness, The Revenge and Seeking others for FREE... I have read first two so far... and LOVE them.. Violence, love, revenge, fairness, great characters, a good story... I def give five stars ... there are few typos, and missing quotation marks, I noticed while reading dialog.. but easily over looked.. and common in self published e-books... so if you spend the $$ they are worth it...
Great book! I wasn't expecting much when a friend asked me to read this book, as she didn't want to waste her time and I was in need of some reading material. WOW! I'm so glad I took the time. I'm not into female vampires and I was sorely disappointed when I realized that's what the main character was. I'm glad I kept reading. The book captured me immediately and kept me enthralled through out. It's a book with a story line like no other I've read before. Well done!

My only disappointment is the abrupt ending. I wasn't ready to stop, so I immediately bought the next two books. Starting the second one now.
This book has it all. It sucked me in from chapter one and I was unable to put it down until completion. It's one of those reads that sticks with you and works its way into your heart.
The heroine (whom ranks in my top favorite book heroines off all time) was a strong willed bad_ss, but still was written to portray such dignity, innocence and class. This book just has so emotion and never has a dull moment. The character depth and detailing was flawless. The writing style was out of this world! Robin Renee Rae was just added to my stalker list because I am eagerly awaiting more of her work!!!!
Great intro to the series. I like the characters and the author does a good job of developing them so they seem like real people you know. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it is no vampire fairy tale - it's gruesome and horrific and wonderful. Kudos to the author for making me cringe so thoroughly. There were some editing issues, but I can easily overlook them because the plot build-up and storyline were so captivating. Also, I would've had a major issue with how the story just drops off at the end had the second book not already been available. There's no cliffhanger, wrap-up, or conclusion, it really just drops off... But since I was able to immediately purchase book two and pick back up on the story, it didn't frustrate me much. I would give this book somewhere between 4-5 stars, but posted as 5 instead of 4 because I feel it deserves more recognition.
